Vestas Abercrombie Wind Farm team has recently welcomed representatives from the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) Southern NSW EPBC assessment section to the proposed wind farm site.

The visit aimed to familiarise the DCCEEW team with the sites biodiversity values, particularly those relevant under the EPBC Act. Biodiversity consultants from ERM joined us on site, providing expert knowledge and context on local ecological features.

The visit offered a valuable opportunity to share information, align on environmental priorities, and support a collaborative approach to the EPBC approvals process.
